Description:

The Curve Number layer was developed through combining the final Soils layer with the Landuse groups. The standard curve numbers from the SCS runoff curve number guidance document TR55 (USDA, 1986) were initially trialled. Through the SCS runoff curve number calibration process, (Cardno, 2017) minor adjustments were made to the curve number table to better reflect the calibrated curve numbers. The curve number table is displayed in Table 4-2 of the following report - "Hydrological Modelling Parameters. Standardising parameters for hydrological modelling of small ungauged urban catchments", Prepared for Wellington Water in May 2017 by Cardno, Charlotte Lockyer, Senior Environmental Scientist. The Curve Number map is displayed on the back of the report.
